You can manage your feedpacks in the Customize section of Alertle.
MyPicks is the combined list of all your feedpacks. This includes the following:
Home, which is the default feedpack and cannot be renamed / deleted. You can add / remove feeds from it.
Feedpacks created by you.
Feedpacks to which you have subscribed (see
Share for more info on this).
You can control the visibility of all feedpacks in the MyPicks section.
All have a checkbox next to them which determines their visibility. If this box is checked, then the feedpack will show on Alertle's main page, otherwise it will not.
If you have too many feedpacks set to as visible, then the number of feedpacks you see is based on your screen resolution. In most cases, you will see between 18 - 22 feedpacks on your screen.
To create a feedpack:
Enter its desired name in the textbox and press Create. The feedpack will get added to your MyPicks list and you will see two icons next to it - for rename and delete.
To rename a feedpack:
Press the pencil icon next to it.
Enter the desired name and press Check to save or Cross to cancel.
To delete a feedpack:
Press the trash can icon next to it.
You will be shown a message asking you if you really want to delete that feedpack where you can click yes or no. If you click yes, the feedpack will be deleted. This can't be reversed.
Note: You can only rename / delete feedpacks which you created.
When a feedpack is clicked in the left panel, the following happens:
Its list of feeds is displayed in the middle panel.
Various options like Add feeds and others are displayed in the right panel.
Information about the feedpack is displayed in the right panel (number of feeds, author, etc).
