You can manage feeds in the Customize section of Alertle.
This is how you can add feeds to your feedpacks:
Find them by entering a keyword (eg. tech), website (eg. cnn.com), or the exact
RSS link (preferable) and pressing
Find.
Relevant search results will be shown and each will have a green plus button next to it.
If you want to add that feed, simply click on that plus button and the feed will get added to the currently open feedpack.
Note: You can only add feeds to your own feedpacks.
Feeds can be copied between feedpacks using the Copy to option in the middle panel of Customize:
Check the feeds which you want to copy.
In the Copy to drop-down menu, click on the feedpack to which you want to copy them.
This is a great way to find and add feeds from feedpacks shared by other Alertle users.
Note: You can only copy feeds to your own feedpacks.
To rename a feed:
Press the pencil icon next to it.
Enter the desired name.
Press Check to save or Cross to cancel.
To delete a feed:
press the trash can icon next to it and the feed will be deleted from that feedpack.
Note: You can only rename / delete feeds in your own feedpacks.
If you have been using another feed reader, you can easily migrate to Alertle using OPML. Simply export your feeds in an OPML file and import it into Alertle:
-
Browse for the
OPML file on your computer.
Press Upload.
The feeds from your
OPML file will get added to your Alertle account and even your folders will be replicated into feedpacks. Feeds which didn't belong to any folder get added to a default feedpack called
OPML.
